Using tiny tech to make blinky lights

I have generally always had some sort of small project to work on in my back pocket outside of game development to continue learning new things while satisfying my desire to create fun things. With the availability of hardware such as the Raspberry Pi and Arduino boards, it has been easy to create completely practical devices, such as an LED strip wrapped around the perimeter of my workstation that changes colors to match the average color of whatever is on my monitors.

Pictured above is a Raspberry Pi 3 that has been outfitted with a case from 8bitdo and the RetroPi framework. Although simple, it is satisfying to complete these small projects as part of an effort to expand my capabilities and challenge myself in new ways.com
